The Bronze Brigade

 

The Bronze battalion took a fall by setting of a trap on the stairs that dumped Raya into the middle of 4 angry screeching violet Fungi

The Sun sets and Bones’ curse is observed once again

The Party creeps though a bat infested chamber and splits up to investigate what turns out to be the meat locker, the Dump, and the Drake pit. Grom is injured by a poisonous barb hidden in the curtain but his quick thinking and boundless faith in bahamut lord of dragons protects him, Raya investigates the dump in considers the admittedly remote possibility that a great weapon has been tossed in with the other refuse, she eventually declines the … opportunity Ezra sees a draft shake the floor, upon closer inspection it is a piece of Parchment coloured and carefully placed over a pit of dangerous spikes.

The spike pit trap is avoided and the Bronze battalion encounter a group of kobolds arriving at the drake pit a fight ensues, the kobolds are defeated before they can release the terrible guard drakes.

The Bronze battalion pushes forward, Ezra misses a clue and sets of a small cave in pelting himself grom and Bones (who was supposed to be vulnerable to blugeoning damage at the time LOL)

The trap warns the kobolds in the adjacent barracks and a fight begins, just as quickly Ezra dispatches a kobold with one quick movement and a murderous cry, they Kobolds are put off the fight and eventually surrender

The Bronze Battalion meet their greatest challenge yet The Half Dragon Langdedrosa Cyanrath and his Thugs

The battle does not start off favourably for our adventurers as they are caught in a tight stairway

Some quick thinking from Grom instigates the exodus and launches Bones into the fray.

The Bronze Battalion fights valiantly in each their own way; Jax stabbing and slashing with shadow and poison, Ezra keeps one assailant busy while Grom unleashes a righteous vengeance on the enemy and Bones keeps them busy with an insurmountable defence and Raya and Durandal pick away at the enemy

Eventually our heroes turn the tide but not without consequence grom falls, his wounds although great can and were treated

The Room was ransacked using a previously discovered key

The final room of this dungeon delve turned out to be a dragon hatchery where three dragon eggs are discovered. One Black one Copper and one Red. Runara will want to hear of this
